Weitzman negotiates sale of DFW retail center

ARLINGTON—A Dallas-based joint venture represented by Weitzman has sold Matlock Oaks, an 86,777-square-foot grocery-anchored community retail center located at the southwest corner of 808 SW Green Oaks Boulevard and Matlock Road, to an undisclosed purchaser.

Matlock Oaks, located in the Parks at Arlington-South Cooper Street retail district, is anchored by specialty grocer Indo Pak World Market, which occupies 45,056 square feet. Other concepts in the center include Subway, Allstate Insurance, Matlock Family Dental, several beauty-focused concepts and other shops and services.

The center, which was completely renovated in 2014, serves a trade area with more than 124,000 people in nearly 40,000 households within a three-mile radius. The average household income within the radius is a healthy $79,888.
