HOUSTON—Pouya Tiraie, CCIM, an experienced retail sales and leasing brokerage professional, has joined the Houston office of Weitzman, one of the largest retail-focused commercial real estate services firms based in Texas, as an associate. In this position, he handles retail property sales, as well as project representation and retail tenant representation, in the Greater Houston area. Prior to joining Weitzman, Tiraie handled investment sales and leasing with Berkshire Hathaway Premier Properties in Houston, and has experience as a retail property accountant for partnership, management, leasing and loan agreements.
Tiraie is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and has earned the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the CCIM Institute, commercial real estate’s global standard for professional achievement. He is involved with the Young Professionals Network in the CCIM Houston/Gulf Coast Chapter.
Tiraie received Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Finance and Accounting from the C.T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston in Houston, Texas.
