Professional Background
Weldon Simons is Managing Director-Weitzman Family Office for Weitzman, one of the largest regional commercial real estate services firms in the United States. Simons is responsible for overseeing the investments of the family office. He previously was Chief Operating Officer, and before that Chief Financial Officer, for Weitzman, directing the companies' operations, financing and acquisition strategies. Prior to joining the firm, Simons was chief financial officer/chief operating officer for Intervest Companies, a Dallas-based real estate acquisition and management company. He had management responsibility for daily business operations, financial, accounting, banking and investor relations.
