Steve Greenwood, an experienced leasing professional in regional retail and mall real estate, is an Associate with the Dallas-Fort Worth office of Weitzman. In this position, he is responsible for leasing Golden Triangle Mall, a regional mall located in the growing Denton market.
Greenwood’s retail leasing experience includes leasing regional malls and negotiating anchor and shop leases at projects throughout the country. He entered the retail real estate field in 1995 as a vice president of community center leasing with Urban Retail Properties and has handled leasing for project’s owned by large mall developers such as General Growth Properties.
Notable leases in Greenwood’s career include AMC, Aveda Institute, Belks, Boscov, Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, Books a Million, Bed Bath & Beyond, Burlington, Cinemark, Carmike, Cost Plus, Dick’s Sporting Goods, DSW, Dillard’s Men’s, Forever 21, Hobby Lobby, HomeGoods, Holiday Inn, Hilton, iPic, JCPenney, Kohl’s, LA Fitness, Landmark Cinemas, Marshalls, Movie Tavern, Rave Cinemas, Regal Cinemas, Stage Stores, Stein Mart, Safeway, T.J.Maxx, Target and Walmart.
Greenwood is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
Greenwood received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Public Administration from Governors State University in University Park, Illinois.
