GARRIDO'S TO OPEN IN DOWNTOWN'S 360 CONDO TOWER
AUSTIN—Garrido’s, a new concept from David Garrido, formerly of

street level of the 360 Condominiums in downtown Austin.
360 Condominiums is a new, striking 44-story condominium tower at a site bounded
by 4th Street, 3rd Street, Nueces Street and Shoal Creek
in the heart of downtown Austin. All 430 residential condos in the 360 project

and Weitzman’s Michele Gary and Adam Zimel handle leasing.
Garrido’s will benefit from 360’s prime retail space, which faces 3rd, 4th
and Nueces Streets at a highly visible site in downtown.
Garrido’s, set to open in spring 2009, will offer one of the most unique menus
Austin has to offer. Signature dishes will include specialties such as
coffee-marinated ribeye tacos with chipotle and horseradish, mojo de ajo shrimp
with mango salsa, pico de gallo and slaw, a peanut butter-chocolate sorbet with
a pepita tuile and specialty drinks including pomegranate martinis.
In keeping with the Austin lifestyle, Garrido’s will focus on local,
fresh ingredients for its dishes. The restaurant also will be focus on
environmentally green build out.
David Garrido brings extensive restaurant experience in the Austin market to his
namesake restaurant. Garrido was with Jeffrey’s for 16 years and with Chuy’s
for the past three.
Garrido’s joins a number of other high-profile concepts, including Royal Blue
Grocery, Lora Reynolds Art Gallery, Optique, Blu Café, Mulberry, Yummy Yo and
American Cleaners.
360 Condominiums, now with more than 90 percent of its residential units sold,
offers a location in a pedestrian-friendly location within easy walking access
to the downtown core, as well as Lady Bird Lake and a number of retail and
restaurant districts. 360 Condominiums’ location overlaps the burgeoning
West End/Market District, anchored by Whole Foods and an array of specialty
retailers, and the Warehouse/2nd Street Retail District, which
includes a number of destination restaurants and specialty retailers.
360 Condominiums’ retail space further benefits from
the traffic generated by the growing downtown commercial, residential and retail
market, as well as its proximity to the 430 homes at 360
