July 24, 2006 ANNA'S LINENS LEASES FIRST AUSTIN LOCATION AUSTIN—Anna’s Linens, the value leader in fashions for the home, has leased 8,600 square feet of retail space in Norwood Plaza, a shopping center located at 1030 Norwood Park Boulevard, for its first Austin location. David Simmonds, Matt Epple, Daren Nix and Ryder Jeanes with the Commercial Retail Division of The Weitzman Group handled negotiations in cooperation with Todd Wallace of Staubach Co., who represented the retailer. Anna's Linens offers an assortment of soft home furnishings, including sheets, bedding, towels, bath accessories, tabletop, window coverings, and decorative accessories, all at guaranteed low prices. Anna’s Linens is headquartered in Costa Mesa, California, and operates more than 225 stores in 17 states. The Norwood Plaza store is set to open in July 2006. The chain’s CEO, Chairman of the Board and President, Alan Gladstone, in 2006 was named "Outstanding Achievement Award" by the Fashion Institute of Technology.
