April 28, 2006 FALLAS PAREDES LOCATES IN FARMERS BRANCH FARMERS BRANCH—Fallas Paredes, a retailer offering family clothing and goods, has leased 22,393 square feet in Valwood Village, a shopping center located at 2740 Valwood Parkway, for a new location. Earl Harris with the Commercial Retail Division of The Weitzman Group handled negotiations. The lessor is Valwood Plaza, Ltd. Fallas Paredes is a concept of National Stores, Inc., which  now operates more than 185 Fallas Paredes and Factory 2-U  stores in Texas, California, Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada and is expanding in these current markets. Fallas Paredes was started over 30 years ago by Joe Fallas, who opened its first store in downtown Los Angeles. The business idea was simple, sell quality merchandise at low prices and create a friendly family oriented environment.
