WEITZMAN NAMED LEASING AGENT FOR 1001 ROSS
DALLAS—The Weitzman Group
has been named the exclusive retail leasing agent for 1001 Ross, a high-profile
urban retail and multi-family project located in downtown Dallas at the
northeast corner of Ross and Lamar.

Division handle leasing.
The retail portion of 1001 Ross, owned by JPI, incorporates a total of 30,742
square feet at the street level of the four-story project. Three stories of
multi-family space sit atop the retail. Retail tenants at 1001 Ross include CVS
Pharmacy, Cold Stone Creamery, Taco Del Mar and Subway.
The project is designed with a red-brick façade, white stone accents and
awnings that provide a historical urban appeal. In addition to being adjacent to
the West End and Victory Park (anchored by American Airlines Center arena), 1001
Ross Avenue benefits from its location across the street from a the DART
light-rail line. The light-rail line transports more than 55,000 one-way
passengers on weekdays.
The retail space at 1001 Ross also benefits from strong urban residential growth
in the area. Within a one-mile radius of the project, the population grew by 89
percent between 1990 and 2000. In addition, the area features a dense daytime
population of approximately 108,000 people, which benefits restaurants and
retail uses.
