MAJOR PROJECT ANNOUNCED FOR 380 CORRIDOR;
WEITZMAN NAMED EXCLUSIVE LEASING AGENT

FRISCO—Oakridge Investments, Inc., in conjunction with The Rudman Partnership, has announced a major regional retail project to be built on 81 acres at the southwest corner of Highway 380 and FM 423 in Frisco. The project, to total more than 515,000 square feet of multi-tenant retail, is designed to feature six major and junior anchors, along with in-line retail space, entertainment uses and freestanding restaurant and retail buildings.

The Weitzman Group has been named exclusive leasing agent for the regional project. Brian Glaser, president of Weitzman’s DFW Commercial Retail Division, and Sue Hageman, Weitzman vice president, are responsible for leasing.

The project will feature major frontage along Highway 380, which is one of the fastest-growing and most dynamic corridors in North Texas thanks to its location and its rapidly growing residential communities. Within a 10-minute drive time of the center, there are more than 121 active residential subdivisions. Currently, within the 10-minute drive time of Highway 380 and FM 423, there are approximately 91,000 people. Within three years, that population is expected to grow to more than 141,000 people. Within five years, the population is expected to top 165,000 people.

Weitzman is marketing the project to major anchors and retail uses that will benefit from its location, its visibility, the strong demographic and the powerful retailer mix that will be assembled at the center.  Frisco Crossing is designed to be the premier retail destination for the trade area.
