CLUTE, TX—Woodshore Marketplace, a community center anchored by a 123,000-square-foot Kroger Marketplace, has commenced construction on its next phase, which is adding a new roster of retail options to the center. Woodshore Marketplace, located at the southeast corner of Oyster Creek Drive and Dixie Drive within the master-planned Woodshore community near Houston, opened its first phase in 2016.
Steve Chandler, City Partner for Weitzman in Houston, along with JoBeth Prochaska, Senior Vice President of Development and Asset Management, are directing development of the community center. Weitzman’s Kyle Knight and Brett Levinson are the exclusive leasing agents for Woodshore Marketplace.
The 11,200-square-foot new phase will feature an 8,000-square-foot Pet Supermarket and 1,800-square-foot Bahama Buck’s. An additional 1,400 square feet of space is being marketed in this phase. This new phase will join existing tenants, bringing the total size of the center’s shop space to 27,600 square feet of multi-tenant space, and features a strong line-up of national, regional and local concepts, including:
• Nails of America, with 3,000 square feet ;
• Center Court Pizza and Brew, with 3,500 square feet ;
• $1.49 Dry Cleaners, with 1,200 square feet;
• Sport Clips, with 1,100 square feet;
• T-Mobile, with 1,440 square feet.
In addition to the Kroger anchor, Woodshore Marketplace features two pad sites for freestanding concepts including Discount Tire, which is currently under construction, and one additional pad site available for lease.
