HOUSTON—The Houston office of Weitzman has been named exclusive project leasing agent for Willowbrook Plaza, a 392,542-square-foot regional-draw center located at 17355 Tomball Parkway at Gessner Road in the heart of northwest Houston’s strong retail hub.
James Namken, Kyle Knight and Brett Levinson with Weitzman are handling project leasing for the retail center, a project of DDR
Willowbrook Plaza features a powerful line-up of entertainment and retail anchors, including AMC Theatres, Bed Bath & Beyond, buybuy Baby, World Market and others. Restaurants at the center include Saltgrass Steakhouse, Babin’s Seafood House, Buffalo Wild Wings and several others.
“We’re talking to several active concepts that would benefit from the visibility and traffic draw that Willowbrook Plaza offers,” Namken said, noting that the center’s available spaces range from an 18,000-square-foot junior anchor space in the building anchored by Bed Bath & Beyond and World Market, among others, to small-tenant spaces that benefit from their location adjacent to the popular AMC multiple-screen cinema.
Willowbrook Plaza also benefits from its location peripheral to Willowbrook Mall, a leading mall anchored by Macy’s, Dillard’s, JCPenney, Nordstrom Rack, Forever 21 and others.
Willowbrook Plaza’s location on Tomball Parkway (Highway 249) is visible and accessible to more than 113,000 vehicles daily, and the trade area further features approximately 313,000 residents and 109,000 households with an average household income in excess of $91,000.
