DFW-based pizza restaurant expands to Houston

HOUSTON—i Fratelli Pizza, founded in Irving, Texas, in 1987, has leased 1,200 square feet of retail space in a neighborhood retail center located at 11300 Katy Freeway, for its first Houston location.

Kyle Knight and Brett Levinson with Weitzman handled negotiations as tenant representatives for i Fratelli. Campbell Anderson with Orr Commercial represented the shopping center.

The name i Fratelli means ‘the brothers’ in Italian, and the concept was founded by brothers George, David, Mike and Darrell Cole.  The Houston franchised restaurant, set to open in late 2018, will be owned and operated by Bruce and Callie Redden. The concept, which is expanding and currently operates locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth and Austin markets, is famed for its rectangular pizzas made with dough that is handcrafted daily. Additionally, the pizzas are baked at high temperatures in stone deck ovens.
