For its campaign on behalf of Weitzman, Agency Entourage won the Dallas/Fort Worth American Marketing Association’s Marketer of the Year award in the Retail Marketing category. The agency built “The Faces of Denton” campaign with Weitzman for its Denton shopping center, Golden Triangle Mall, to celebrate the diversity and uniqueness of North Texans.
“We showcased real Denton residents in the campaign and we are humbled by the community’s response” said Ben Randolph, Agency Entourage principal. “As a North Texas agency, we are always looking for ways to help our clients connect with the diverse culture here in our own backyard. Golden Triangle Mall is a hub for all walks of Denton life and we are so glad this campaign was able to find its place in the spotlight.”
“The Faces of Denton” campaign from Agency Entourage and Golden Triangle Mall won in the category of “Retail Marketing” in the 2020 AMA Awards. This category recognizes excellence in creative campaign execution for retail clients. The judges’ decision is based on the campaign concept, execution and achieved results.

We love engaging with Denton residents and really getting to know our community.”

The Faces of Denton won in the Retail Marketing category for implementing a community-focused contest which celebrated the unique diversity of Denton, TX residents. 10 community members were selected to represent the city in 2019, and were used across Golden Triangle Mall’s marketing materials in print, social media, email marketing and website. Agency Entourage also received a Gold MAXI award from the International Council for Shopping Centers (ICSC) in July 2020 for this campaign.
