HOUSTON—Bishops Cuts/Color, established in Portland, Oregon, in 2001, has leased its first two Houston locations, with 1,298 square feet of retail space at 3100 Fannin, an urban retail redevelopment at Fannin Street and Elgin (Westheimer) in the dense Midtown District; and 1,400 square feet of retail space at 2522 Yale at Aurora in the Heights.
James Namken and Brett Levinson with Weitzman handled negotiations as exclusive tenant representatives for Bishops in Houston in cooperation with Anne Mendez of Fransite. FranSite represents Bishops as master broker for the concept as it expands nationwide. Zach Wolf of Braun Enterprises represented the landlord.
Bishops offers a modern look, quality stylists, fair prices and bills itself as “just more fun.” Bishops notes that it’s named after the founder’s St. Bernard/Rottweiler mix, Bishop.
