HOUSTON—The Houston office of Weitzman has been named exclusive project leasing agent for Aliana, a planned retail center located at the southwest corner of West Airport Boulevard and FM 1464 in the heart of the Aliana master-planned community.
Kyle Knight and Walker Kane with Weitzman are handling project leasing for the new retail center, which will total 28,950 square feet upon completion.
Aliana will incorporate two retail buildings with frontage along West Airport Boulevard. The space is being marketed for restaurant, retail and medical-dental-beauty uses. The project benefits from its key location within a trade area that features 77,132 residents and 22,142 households with an average household income of $114,972 within a three-mile radius. By 2022, the population is expected to jump another 20 percent.
The location at the intersection of West Airport Freeway and FM 1464 positions Aliana’s retail space in the midst of increasingly dense residential, as well as near the entrance to the Black Hawk Country Club. The area is also underserved by retail, with the closet retail center being several miles away.
The Aliana community is one of the nation’s top-selling master-planned communities and will incorporate 4,200 homes at build-out.
