Adam
Zimel is a Vice President with the Austin
Commercial Retail Division of The Weitzman Group, the
leading retail real estate brokerage firm in Texas. Zimel joined The
Weitzman Group in 2006 and specializes in retail tenant representation and
retail project representation for projects ranging from mixed-use (The
Triangle, 360 Condominiums and Crestview Station) to
grocery-anchored (Northcross, and Plaza Volente) to freestanding assets (The
Boatyard and former Bennigan's) and neighborhood strips (Davenport Village and
Market at Slaughter).
Prior to joining Weitzman, Zimel specialized in retail leasing with Norris &
Stevens, Inc., of Portland, Oregon.

has also been recognized as one of the Top 10 Brokers for The Weitzman Group on
a company-wide basis for 2009. In addition, he was recognized by CoStar as a
Power Broker Award recipient in its Top Retail Leasing Transaction Volume in
2006, 2009 and 2010.

Zimel received
a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Portland State University in
Portland, Oregon.
