In this position, he specializes in the project representation of retail centers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, with a focus on Tarrant County, as well as site selection and the disposition of surplus properties for national clients.  Prior to joining The Weitzman Group, Walker was a real estate development manager/broker for Synergy Properties of Fort Worth, where he handled site selection for large retail developments. He also has experience in investment sales, retail leasing, tenant representation, financing and land development. Walker’s sales experience includes work as an account manager for BellSouth Business Solutions of Charlotte, North Carolina, where he quarterbacked an account team to ensure successful project development and execution, and with MCI Telecommunications, where he supervised a team of sales and professionals. Organizations Walker is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors.   He is the current chairman of the Guide Right Mentoring Program (Fort Worth Alumni Chapter), which mentors youth age 13-18 and which has implemented the program at Dunbar High School. Education Walker received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia.
