Professional Background
Jonathan Tobolowsky is an Assistant Vice President with the Commercial Retail Division of The Weitzman Group, one of the largest commercial real estate brokerage and related services firms in Texas. In this position, he specializes in general retail brokerage, including project leasing with an emphasis on the Uptown/Turtle Creek market. He also handles retail tenant representation for restaurants, franchisees and retailers. Prior to joining Weitzman, Tobolowsky was a Retail Specialist with the Dallas/Fort Worth office of Colliers International. During his tenure with Colliers, he worked on accounts ranging in tenant representation, project leasing, investment sales, land acquisitions, disposition work, and other areas of related real estate. He received several national awards and was appointed to the company’s National Steering Committee. In D/FW, he worked on a team of four, and handled transactions ranging from 800 square feet – 16,000 square feet.

Tobolowsky is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors and its Young Professionals Forum, The Dallas Chamber of Commerce and its Young Professionals Forum, the National Association of Realtors and the Texas Association of Realtors. In addition, Tobolowsky sits on a number of related committees.  He is a candidate for the prestigious Certified Commercial-Investment Member (CCIM) designation awarded by the CCIM InstituteTobolowsky also is active in the Dallas Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals, where he is on the Membership and Programs Committees; the Dallas Independent School District, where he is vice president of the Special Education program; the Special Olympics, where he is head coach for the Carrollton/Farmers Branch region; the Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation, where he is a founding member of the Friends of the Park Steering Committee, is on the Speakers Bureau and serves as Volunteer Chair and Programs Chair; and the Uptown Public Improvement District, where he is on the Marketing Committee.
