He previously was Senior Vice President - Finance for Cencor/Weitzman.  Prior to joining Cencor/Weitzman, Simons was chief financial officer/chief operating officer for Intervest Companies, a Dallas-based real estate acquisition and management company. He had management responsibility for daily business operations, financial, accounting, banking and investor relations. His experience also includes service as corporate controller for Allied Marketing Corp., a Dallas-based direct marketing firm, as assistant controller for Dallas-based Tyler Corporation and as partner with Montgomery Birdwell & Co., a regional public accounting firm based in Graham, Texas. Education Simons received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington.
