Professional Background
David Schnitzer is a vice president with the Dallas Commercial Retail
Division of The Weitzman Group, the leading retail real estate brokerage firm in
Texas. Schnitzer specializes in retail tenant representation and project
representation, as well as retail leasing and sales. Prior to joining The
Weitzman Group, he was a partner with Martech Consulting Group. He also worked
as a senior marketing manager at GTE, as a senior account executive with DDB
Needham’s Dallas office and as an associate account executive with New
York-based Hal Riney & Partners.

handles retail tenant representation for clients including JP Morgan Chase Bank,
Ethan Allen, El Paso Import Co. and Cru Wine Bar, as well as other national and regional
retailers. On the project representation
side, he focuses on retail projects in the fast-growing North Dallas
market.

2008, Schnitzer earned the prestigious designation of CCIM
(Certified Commercial Investment Member). He is now an active member of
the local CCIM chapter. Schnitzer is a member of the
International Council of Shopping Centers, the North Texas Commercial
Association of Realtors, the Young Professionals Real Estate Forum, Retail
Dealmakers and the Retail Brokers Network.
Education
Schnitzer received a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising from the University of
Texas at Austin.
