Professional Background 
Daniel Rivas is an Associate with the Dallas/Fort Worth Investment Advisory Services division of The Weitzman Group, the leading retail real estate brokerage firm in Texas. Rivas specializes in the sale of commercial property in the Dallas area, as well as retail property leasing and tenant representation. Prior to joining The Weitzman Group, Rivas was principal with Daniel Rivas Properties, LLC, a real estate firm that specialized in distressed land assemblages, including complex high-barrier-to-entry urban parcels for mixed-use development.  Rivas’ commercial real estate experience  includes specialization in the acquisition and disposition of income-producing properties and negotiated more than 200 transactions for land, multi-family, single-family and commercial properties.

Rivas received a Bachelor of Financial Management degree in Real Estate Finance from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina.
