Professional Background Michael Meyers is vice president of operations for The Weitzman Group, one of the largest regional commercial real estate firms in the United States. Meyers, who joined the company in 1997, oversees Weitzman’s Research Department, which handles research and related duties for the statewide company. His duties in Research also include oversight of Weitzman’s leasing sign program. In addition, Meyers works closely with the company’s director of brokerage in recruiting efforts for the D/FW brokerage operation, as well as the overall coordination of the brokerage department. He also is the main point of contact for various day-to-day administrative responsibilities, including the company’s commission accounting, company/broker compliance with the Texas Real Estate Commission and the auditing of brokerage company expenses. In addition to his management duties, Meyers handles the asset management for a portfolio of 15 shopping centers in the DFW Metroplex.
