Professional Background
Brian D. Glaser is President of the D/FW Commercial Retail Division of The Weitzman Group, one of the largest regional commercial real estate firms in the U.S.  He focuses on tenant representation, site selection and ground-up shopping center developments.  Within the Commercial Retail Division, Glaser specializes in strategic rollout programs for national retail and restaurant chains as the leader of the Dallas/Fort Worth team.  In this capacity, he maintains a focused program overseeing and actively participating in the various disciplines of the team, including land, third-party leasing, tenant representation and the Texas Restaurant Exchange, a focused specialty division of The Weitzman Group with a dedicated focus to restaurant tenants.  

Most notably, Glaser’s expertise in aggressive/strategic tenant rollout programs, combined with his knowledge and success in  ground-up shopping center development, positions him as the market leader in providing full-service brokerage and speed-to-market results.  In this capacity, he provides consultation work for high-growth national restaurant and retail chains, implementing market penetration strategies in space negotiations and sales from 4,000 square feet to more than 50 acres.


Honors and Awards
Glaser is a consistent statewide top producer for The Weitzman Group, having ranked in the Top 10 ten times in his eleven years with the company. For the year 2007, Glaser was the overall top producer for Weitzman in Texas. He ranked as the top producer for Weitzman in Dallas in 2007, 2005, 2004 and 2003.  He is one of the Dallas/Fort Worth area's most successful retail real estate brokers, consistently ranked by the Dallas Business Journal as one of the "Heavy Hitters" in D/FW commercial real estate.  Glaser has been ranked as a Heavy Hitter, based on production, every year since 1998, his second year in the business.

Glaser is active in the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, The Real Estate Council, Associate Leadership Council, International Council of Shopping Centers and the Texas Restaurant Association.

Civic Activity
Glaser is actively involved in the development of Sophie’s Society, a nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to funding and providing assistance to under-funded expecting families.  He also is active with The Davinci School’s fundraising efforts to build a new school and with the Jewish Federation of Dallas.
