Professional Background David L. Byler, a professional with more than 20 years of commercial real estate and retail industry experience, is Vice President of the San Antonio Commercial Retail Division of The Weitzman Group, one of the largest regional commercial real estate brokerage services firms based in Texas. In this position, Byler handles retail property representation, retail tenant representation and acquisitions and dispositions in the San Antonio market. Prior to joining Weitzman, Byler was chief operating officer for Austin-based NeuroSensory Centers of America, where he handled duties such as the development of diagnostic medical clinics throughout the United States. His retail and real estate industry experience since 1990 includes work on the executive level in development and construction for restaurants including Fazoli’s, Schlotzsky’s, Luby’s and Long John Silver’s. He entered the real estate field in 1983 as a broker for Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate in San Antonio, and also worked as director of development for Dallas-based Motel 6. Organizations
